At the turn of 1979/80, several accidentally made yellow Fords with the word TAYSTEE on the sides left the factory gates . They are extremely rare today and counterfeits occur naturally. There are also Code 2 club models, but the logo is not a print, but a sticker.

Description: The same colour body as the colmans mustard with plated parts in gold and red 12 spoke wheels with red type 1 rear doors.
The genuine lable measures 30x10mm.
It is estimated that no more more than 200 of these vans were produced by mistake when the American Bakeries company ordered Y5 Talbot Vans. It was not immediately noticed. Upon noticing the mistake it was agreed to dispose of the Y12 models by packing them with the Y5 Models.

Variations/Rarities: Very rare.

Collectors should be aware that genuine lables measure 30mm x 19mm. Except for the change of livery, these models are similar to the Colman's issue 1with red rear lights. It is estimated that no more then 200 of the Y12 Ford Model T Van Taystee vans were produced.
